Made this last night - YUM: Art Smith's Unfried Fried Chicken

and it's eggless! But that's a lot of chile on top of the hot sauce!

I had no idea he had a restaurant in Palo Alto, not that I am likely to go there...

 
I wonder if he means "flakes" although that would still be a lot

of heat. Looks good. The sauce in the buttermilk is a lot like fried chicken places like Bojangles do and it is good stuff.
