my contractor, who I know well showed up today, clearly under the weather. I made and sent him home with this. His face lit up. (He's single, alone, and mom is 4 states away)

I so much envy how many of you are able to bake and share your accomplishments.... Not my thing. I was so happy to share a soup for my contractor. I thought he was going to cry!

I felt like I did a good deed today. He should not have come here to begin with, just should have stayed home. BUT, since he was here, I made the soup for him. He was seriously over whelmed.

Oh, Barb! How thoughtful! If I was under the weather, I'd be thrilled to have this soup!

Michael, I do a riff on this soup with Trader Joe's Miso Ginger Broth. It has such great flavor. I

add anything from chicken to potstickers, strips of peppers, mushrooms, shredded carrot, kale, whatever. I now keep a box of it on hand at all times. I wonder if you've had a chance to try it.

I'm the only miso lover in the house, unfortunately.

I do keep a jar of miso in my fridge for when I get a craving for miso soup. I saw the post where you extolled the virtues of the TJs product. It's easy for me to flavor miso broth with a crushed coin of fresh ginger and dash of scallion. I do love it!

The original soup is very versatile. I grab whatever green leafy vegetable that looks the freshest at my local asian grocery store and toss it in.

Good stuff.

Michael
