I saw these on Unique Sweets and as soon as I could lay my hands on Rice Krispies, I was in the kitchen! Let me just say, this is like a love child between a rice krispie and a peanut butter cup. Except waayyyy better.

When you're craving something sweet, I'd love to have a stash of these in the freezer. Unfortunately, I don't think this first batch will last that long!

PS. They're decadent. I'd advise cutting in smallish pieces.

Speaking of, I just got an email from Mark (of Baked) re: speculaas

They include cardomom in the directions, but not in the list of ingredients. Turns out they started with it in, but after "many, many taste tests" decided the cookie didn't need it.

They forgot to pull it out of the instructions.

Thanks for asking, but I'll have to ix-nay the photo idea. I'm 50 pounds overweight and don't even recognize myself in the mirrow. Last thing I'd want is an image of me out in the Ethernet.

 
I meant a picture of the hot chocolate sauce....LOL

I wouldn't want a picture of me out there either....

 
I brought them to work...and it turns out, I like them better chilled. They came up

to room temp in transit and were okay, but nothing like how they are chilled.
