making a cookbook

Dear Readers,

Some of you may recall that I posted last winter concerning a template for a cookbook; some of you gave good suggestions and even shared your templates. What I ended up doing was using a postcard template that printed 4 copies of a recipe on a page. We wanted to make 100 copies, so I made 25 copies of each recipe page, cut, colated, and bound with a comb binder. The book was 72 pages of recipes, not including the two page index. After all recipes were in the computer, they were arranged in categories and the pages were numbered and an index was created. We used a cardstock cover to commemorate the event and that it was compiled by our chapter. We had appetizers, side dishes, main dishes, and desserts of wonderful variety. Comments concerning it from those who received it were very positive.

A friend wants to print additional copies and give as gifts at a 4th of July party.

Thanks for your good suggestions.

Upload any photo or pic to Photobucket, then go up to 'Account'

and select User profile -- you'll see at the bottom is where you can cut/paste a link. I just didn't realize you could do moving objects like that... cute!

you need a file with a .gif, jpg or png extention...

you're restricted to 64x64 pixels and 18 kb total size.

i find gifs easiest to work with. just google .gif or animated .gif like mine. yo can check the total size and dimensions by right clicking the image then clicking properties.

properties will also give you the url of the image so you can copy it and paste directly into the icon box in account profile.
