Many thanks to Meryl for recommending The Baked Brownie in previous posts - outstanding!

I had it in my "to try" pile and finally went for it last weekend. I really like one-pot brownies, but this one seemed too good not to try, especially with your endorsement. We were not disappointed!

Freshly baked and cooled, these are nice and fudgy, melt in your mouth goodness. After freezing, they are still a very nice texture, but a bit more firm - still fabulous! They are even great frozen (yes, I am nothing if not impatient).

Also, thanks for the link to the Brown-Eyed Baker blog - she has a lot of really nice content and pics.

Lisa, glad to hear it! They're my favorite brownies! Did you use the full amount of salt? I always

cut it in half.

By the way, they're also great while still warm. (or hot, as in my case). I always eat the first

few pieces mere seconds after removing from the oven, hence, burning my tongue and the rest of my mouth. Will I ever learn?

After freezing the leftovers, I defrost them in the toaster oven, heating until, yes, you guessed it, HOT. Again, will I ever learn?

I did not use all, cut it by half. I also ate some warm -

what's this silly "Cool completely before cutting" business, anyway? smileys/smile.gif

I figured you would try them warm, but was just checking - making sure you've been living up to

your reputation. Ha~!
