Usually do not tweak a recipe the fist time, however, really love carmalized onions, so I did them in a skillet and tossed with thyme when they were done.

Also recipe called for baking squash cubes at 400F for 20 minutes. I was baking little loaves and oven was 325F, so they roasted about 45 minutes-nice.

Used Pillsbury Pizza crust.

Only problem was it was saltly for my taste and I used 1 tsp. not the 1 1/2 called for.

Crust seemed saltly and the crust contains 470mg sodium per portion! My crust next time.

Except for that it was very, very good and pretty also. And 1/6 was plenty.

However--love veggie pizzas and am thinking, maybe some sauted spinach? And criminis or some mushrooms.

Also subbing some of the squash with shrooms will cut the carbs a bit.

Wine Palazzo Della Torre-Allegrini 2001.

Geez, I didn't even think of the squash being a carb. Thanks. I'll try with mushrooms as well. Mayb

eee arugula in the last few minutes.
