Marg CDN -- how was France? What did you eat? What foodstuffs did you bring home?

Lotsa salt. I love that Guerande sea salt.. And my pots. But I wasn't there to wine and dine

nor to shop. I had ordered my pots online in advance and was fortunate to find a few others that I had wanted, at at huge supermarket/kind of kitchen store. I buy these TFal pots in endless sizes, that have clip-on handles, meaning of course, that they work well in the oven as well as on stovetop, but can also stack into one another. I have this fear that all nonstick will disappear shortly.

I was just there for a change of pace. My friend's home is up the hill with a sweeping view of the villages and down to Cannes and the Med and a huge wonderful property with lots of interesting plantings. Great place to relax. I enjoy horticulture as well.

It was scorching sun every day, although not quite as warm as TO; but that sun changes everything.

Thank you for asking.

Oh, to eat...well, I keep hating myself for loving the foie gras.

Sounds like a good time in a good place.

(I wanted a change of pace and I ended up at Yonge and Eg LOL) I don't know that sea salt. Maybe I'll have to detour to France next time I go anywhere.

Teflon may disappear, but new technology (new carcinogens?) will replace it. Either that or we'll "rediscover" cast iron.
