Maria - made your Cafe Beaujolais' Coffee Cake tonight -- YUM!!! Ought to be in T&T!

I subbed sour cream for the buttermilk - worked great and it's such a nice, moist cake! So many of them are tasty, but dry. I sprinkled a few chocolate chips on one half (for me), and left the cinnamon in the final topping - we love cinnamon, so it was perfect for us.

good Coffee Cake.
I never get rave reviews on any T&T no matter what I fix but I'm pressing on and still trying!! This is on my list to try while they are here.

the only problem I had with the cake is that the crumb topping keeps wanting to fall off!

I had another piece just now and had to clean up a 2 foot square area around my plate smileys/smile.gif
