mine wouldv'e looked like that too if I didn't have the side blow out at part of the scoring.
Right now I'm waiting for bread to rise and bring to my FIL today for his birthday. I'm trying to see if I can make a heart shaped loaf and do the same thing. We shall see!

Well, it's in the oven. The final shape ended up being a redo because when I tried to tighten up the heart I made a mess of it. Now I have lots of big bubbles on top, so have no idea if this will work.
Next time I do a heart shape I will have more flour on the bench and move to parchment after the first shape. Live and learn.
