This is what I thought of when I saw your post, and I came across it while looking for something else today. Unfortunately, it's in Australia, but I'm thinking I might order some for the holidays. My gran used to buy this for me.

Wow that is the closest I've seen!

I did get some "soft sugar stick candy" from a website that was very close, but if these were in stick form they look the most like them.

Aren't these just after dinner/butter mints, like what they

used to have at restaurant checkout counters before the concern over possible health issues from many different hands digging into the bowls? The larger sticks look like "angel" mints.
