Marilyn and Ang... re: post 9656... I made the Red Velvet Cake Balls ((sort of))

These reminded me so much of the Starbucks snowballs that I was looking for (which they no longer make), so I took this recipe and did my own thing. Instead of the red velvet cake mix, I made my own favorite deep chocolate cake. Then I crumbled it together with the can of cream cheese frosting like the recipe, and made them into balls-

For the rest, I made a 7-minute frosting, coated the balls, then rolled them in coconut and chilled-

Eureka!!! They are just like I remember them! The only thing I would change is that next time I would make them bigger smileys/smile.gif

Bravo...don't you love when you finally uncover a favorite recipe!

I'm still amazed that the idea of crumbling up a cake and adding icing to it--and then making something out of that--never occurred to me.

Go back to photoshop to your photo.

There will be four different options there. Grab the text for HTML and paste in within the Message text field.

Your photo should end up with the text.
