Yesterday I tuned in to Food Network in the middle of a gingerbread competition that may have been that one. The structures were totally amazing--and the judges were extremely picky (and they admitted it) in their perusal of the pieces.

I hope it is repeated. I didn't see much of it.

 
Yes. Many times, but it has become a zoo to wade through the masses of people and parking is

a nightmare. You may wait in line for 10 minutes, get to the entrance and they'll tell you there's no parking spaces left (for which you have to pay $25 fee if you do get a spot, $30 to use valet). Seeing the display is free, however and half of the parking money goes to non-profits in WNC.

I've linked the three main winning groups from this year. The second prize winner (Beatriz Müller from Ontario) was a first prize winner in 2016. She is a Certified Master Sugar Artist.
