Marilyn, I hope you are safe in this hurricane! XO

I was thinking about her earlier this morning as I was listening to news reports about the

thousands without power. The storm was not as powerful as expected but still, 70 mph winds are still very damaging.

 
I was wondering the same.. Thoughts to all of our friends... Michael S, and I believe C1 or C and

Lana, Orchid? ... I am sure we have more... and I am sure I am wrong on many listed above! : )

Also was wondering about CathyZ in Hawaii

And Flori Sandi, who unfortunately, we have not heard from recently.

 
You got everyone right barb. I'm fine but it might have been a bit

stormier for Marilyn. We just had a lot of rain and was breezy so it raised the water level in the lake so that is nice. My last hurricane was Wilma, the one that tore my screen room off and scared the holy crap outta me. But I was alone so it made it worse.

I was a little nervous last night when we got a tornado warning, and were told to take shelter. I asked DH if we should go and sit in the passage - he refused, but my cat immediately streaked into the little guest bathroom in the passage. What a clever boy!
