Ok, Marilyn, It has been some time and I am getting back into the swing of things...posting properly that is..I used a round of the sourdough, REAL bacon that I chopped in the Cuisinart and stuffed shredded sharp cheddar into the openings of the bread where it was cut. Of course, it is best right out of the oven! Make sure you distribute the ranch dressing evenly or you will get stronger ranch "spots" like I did. I served it with the dip but no one bothered with the dip...it was great on its own. DELICIOUS.
