I saw the size of the box and thought, "How many cannoli forms did she really send?" (You had me nervous there for a minute smileys/wink.gif

Then I discovered that you had sent some cannoli shells as well so I drove straight to the store and bought ricotta!! smileys/smile.gif

I'm going to visit my MIL and FIL tomorrow (I call them that even though I and SO are not married) and I'm definitely bringing cannolis!

I'm in heaven! And I cannot thank you enough - you have no idea how much this means to me, Marilyn! (((HUG)))

Okay one down, one to go....see, I got a little tweaked at our customs authorities

for blocking a totally innocent package, so....BOX #1 that I sent WAY THE HECK back in October included my USED cannoli forms (as we discussed), a tiny box of NEW cannoli forms AND a box of already-ready-made mini-cannoli, shipped "ground" on Oct 13.

It sounds like you didn't get that one.

Obviously, that box is still floating in HomeLand Security Circle of Hell where a junior executive analyst is trying to determine if it's an explosive device.

That's when I decided to push the Fate Button by sending a SECOND box along. Just the mere act should have "pushed" the other one to arrive mere minutes before this one did.

Box #2 includes a new set of cannoli forms and a box of full-size ready-made cannolis, shipped air about 2 weeks ago.

Fairy Girl, you are now set to Cannoli the Night Away. And if the Customs department ever deems it prudent to release the other box to you, give them as a gift to the Cannoli Neophytes you'll be creating this weekend.

PS: Let us NOT discuss any reimbursement. Cannolis transcend repayment. And since I am now an official transcontinental member of the Fairy Sisterhood, just do a anonymous nice thing for someone in my stead. That would be payment enough.

Ah yes, the Homeland Security Circle of He$$. That's where my Hawaiian wood

carved bookmark dwells, happily with the cannoli forms. Got home and the little charm that was connected to the end of the bookmark(cute wooden surfboard), but no bookmark in sight. Poof. DH bought it for me. Worth writing a letter? I believe I will.
