Place each twist against each other. Brush top of twists with melted butter and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar mixture.

Do you let them rise before they are baked? Thank you.

Judy, the only mention of raising is at the beginning when you mix all together. This is my 3rd time

trying to post this msg. Having major computer problems and my husband's computer isn't as easy to use as mine, it jumps all over the place and I lose the message I've just written! Happens over and over...ugh

Judy, maybe I can help out here

I have never made this particular cinnamon twist recipe but I do make cinnamon twists from a similar recipe. I let the dough rise the first time, punch it down, cut in half and roll out, brush with melted butter, sprinkle the cinnamon mixture on it, put one half on top of the other, then cut the strips, twist and let rise. THEN brush with butter, sprinkle a bit of cinnamon sugar on and finish in the oven. The method used in the recipe Marsha posted looks like it is for fast commercial baking to do big quanities- probably using fast rising yeast. I would add a partial rise step to the existing recipe before you brush with butter, sprinkle cinnamon mixture on and bake.

Cathy, Marsha here, thank you so much!!!!! for sharing how you do this....who would've

thought this could have been more commercialized.
I really, really do appreciate you sharing your expertise here and how make yours. Blessings, Marsha

Thanks Cathy.....

That is what I thought - to me it needs another rising.

Marsha, keep those recipes coming!! You sure post some tempting ones.
