Mascarpone Mousse & my review of Baking Chez Moi

I loved it, for my taste it was a perfect dessert, very smooth, and not too sweet (more)

tonight I am serving another one of her concoctions, the Speculaas Panna Cotta. It calls for one cup of Biscoff spread, I did not have quite enough, so I emptied my bottle and crossed my fingers. I hope the taste will come through.

it has a very nice color, light caramel. She uses part heavy cream and part milk, so it is lighter than most panna cotta. In fact there is more milk than heavy cream in it. Interesting

Just edited the post... I think it needed more input from my own opinion on it smileys/wink.gif thanks!

I interviewed Dorie a couple months ago. She said in her last two books there was ONE recipe

that everyone went crazy for. She's pretty sure she knows which one it will be for her latest book. I'm wondering if you have a sense of which one that will be? It should be interesting to see how it plays out. smileys/smile.gif

BTW: World Peace cookies and the Marie Helene Cake were the other two desserts.
