Mass people: Totally NFR, but it could become FR...

I live on Cape Cod which is in that general area. I don't know much about

Fairhaven itself, but it is very close to New Bedford, which was the whaling capital of New England. That whole shore from the Cape to Providence, R. I is scenic, historical and has lots of interesting sites. New Bedford, Fall River (of Lizzie Borden fame), within decent reach of Boston and Providence which has become a gem of a city. I love New England which is, I imagine, lots different from Australia. I'm ashamed to say my image is of the Sydney Opera House and that big rock. Are you planning to move or visit? You'll love it.

I grew up in Westport MA, which isn't far from Fairhaven. I ditto all the aajay said.......

That is a lovely part of the country. Excellent ethnic food and great seafood as well. Terrific places within an hour or so. Only downside for me is a long, damp and cold winter. That's why I'm in NC now. smileys/smile.gif
