lade, but those cookies are simply divine.
The Christmas B4 last I received a beautiful basket of jams & jellies, and although I love jam or jelly or preserves mounded on my Wolferman's English muffin each morning, I've never especially liked orange marmalade. So 16 months later the jar of OM that came in that gift basket was still sitting on my shelf.
A friend is having a pitch-in party tomorrow evening and asked me to bring something sweet so bingo, the old light bulb went off and I thought I how I could get rid of, errr, I mean use(!) half that orange marmalade up and give it away in a batch of cookies for the get-together.
The pan of OBP Bars came out of the oven about 7:30 PM. After cooling I thought I'd taste a little 1 by 1-inch square. Well, it is now 9:30 PM, and I've polished off an entire row! (Thank goodness it is a row going the short way across, but it is still an ENTIRE ROW.) My, my are those good, and I certainly do appreciate your posting that recipe on this site. Orange marmalade in your cookies is infinitely better than straight out of the jar!
