We are doing large chafing dishes - 21x13x3-3/16 and trying to figure out how many dishes we need and how many recipes to feed 140/150 for lunch. Thanks!
1 cup serving each is roughly 38 quarts. I don't remember how to calculate the volume for pans.
I remember grandmother making one of those 22 quart roaster ovens full of beef burgundy or tetrazzini for roughly 75 to 100 people but there were probably other things to eat also.
