completed putting in our pool...it is wonderful........surrounding garden and wall have to be finsihed but with water in we were able to have an exquisite setting for Christmas Eve...... I took the plunge (no pun intended) and asked folk over for boxing day, today, and the weather has turned. It is windy and a bit drizzly and dare I say it chilly...about 25 degrees......however I am going to make the pulled pork, rooster crackers and peppered almonds.... cant wait to try these, also...turkey soup and baguette....and the rest is pot luck...the invitation was "Come along for a 'pot-luck pool splash'...pray it is not a 'pot-luck pool splat'"...but the water is in and the pool is lovely....so splash it is for those who can brave the chill! smileys/smile.gif
