I brought them over to a brunch yesterday and everyone loved them. I made them without the nuts. I just had one for breakfast too with some tea. (luckily, i gave most of the cookies away, and only brought 1 to work with me, otherwise i'd be tempted to eat more!)

That makes three...those belong in T&T!)

They also belong on my list of new cookies to try!

Hey, starburst, did you use the listed 1/4 cup flour or 1 1/4 cups? (I always use 1 1/4 cups).

Glad to hear they were a hit!
I freeze most of them immediately or I'd eat them by the dozen!

I agree - Cyn, do you want to post it? Also, do you think we should add the note about the flour?

Great! I made a batch the other day, ate some, then froze the rest. I've been

picking them out, one or two at a time from the freezer. Not as dangerous as keeping them in my cookie jar, but they do defrost fast! Oh, another good thing (or bad, depending on which way you look at it smileys/smile.gif, my husband is basically not into cookies!
You found a winner here, Cyn - I've tried a lot of great deep, dark, decadent chocolate cookie recipes, but these top them all.
