Meryl- did you ever make the CI chocolate ice cream. I was going to do the chocolate ganache one

Hi Cyn, I haven't made the CI one yet, but just checked it in my files. It sounds like it would be

excellent, except I would cut down on the sugar, (I'd use about 7-8 Tbsp instead of 3/4 cup), since I like things more bittersweet.
If you make the Chocolate Ganache one, just make sure you follow my notes on straining out the custard, since Dorie irresponsibly left out that most crucial step (yes, it irritates me), and do add a little vanilla extract - it really makes a difference.
Let me know how either one comes out!

EVER had! I really liked it, too. Soooo creamy and rich you only need a small scoop to satisfy.
I'm doing blueberry/peach next. (Sorry Meryl!)
