the main course & we were very surprised at how much sweetness the apples added. I used 2 Granny Smiths. I liked it but I am eternally hooked on sweet.

I thought the combination of apple and rosemary was interesting. I sprinkled the dry mustard over the pastry bottom before I baked it and it was fine.

The recipe makes a lot of filling. I had some left over so I baked it alone in an individual souffle and it puffed up just like a pretty souffle.

I gave it 8/10 and H gave it 6/10.

Thanks for posting.

Thanks for review, I have the stuff, will make it tonight and post mine soon.....

am thinking that the cheese is a bit sweet too. Maybe a future tweak would be using a tangy cheese. I had a pear, carmalized onion, gorgonzola tart as an appetizer and it was wicked good.

What we noticed was that the sweetness didn't run through consistently. We narrowed it down to high

proportion of apple in the bite.
