Meryl, the "Baked" brownies turned out very good. Thanks!

I have to admit that at first taste...warm out of the oven, I wasn't all that impressed. They tasted a little too "cocoa-y" and a little too "cakey". But they were a gift for a friend who LOVES Godiva Milk Chocolate Caramel with Sea Salt, so I bought a bar of that and a bar of their dark chocolate with sea salt and alternated squares on the top for decoration...like a checkerboard. Because the brownies were still warm, the squares gently melted together and then I popped it into the frig to chill. Didn't really taste them until the next day and OH MY, how the texture and taste had changed. It was much more fudgy and the flavor tones had become more subtle.

Definitely will be making this again, but with the realization that it needs time to ripen.

thanks again.
