Meryl's Baked Eggplant Parmesan...and why my brain scares me.

I hate to tell you this but your brain is SO an engineer's brain.

Not that you are at all "typical" though. I know and meet a lot of engineers- can pick 'em out after one sentence comes out of their mouths. It is all in the way you look at the world. And thank heavens for that! I, for one, appreciate it all.

Weird? It's what we love about you! Even if a recipe title doesn't

interest me if it is posted by you, I never skip over it. Just too darned much fun. If there is something wrong with your brain...don't fix it please. smileys/wink.gif

Also, I don't know if you ever tried these Portabella Fries before but they might be right up you're way of eating right now. This was an Apron's recipe that I really liked and it made it into T&T real fast.

You're welcome. I was looking for something in T&T last week

and saw it. I had forgotten all about it. They are really good.

Too funny. I am often peeking at objects to determine their sex, because I live among the French

who assign a gender to everything. So if I say "le table" and I get corrected that it's "LA table," I look under the table and say, "Oh, of course." It always gets a laugh except from Jacques' stepmother, who has no sense of humor.

For the record, there is no such thing as a male eggplant--all fruits are formed from the ovaries of flowers. Even those firm, elongated Asian types are female.

Funny! Somehow I missed it the first time!

I think it's the trial and error and "America's Test Kitchen"-like way you go about figuring something out that scream "ENGINEER" to me! lol
