Cookie monsters at work and my sneaky DH finished off the last double batch. So more got made yesterday. I lightly sprinkled Castor Sugar on top before baking- it was a nice addition.

Then I got nuts and baked a double batch of my Mom's Oatmeal Cookies. My favorite cookie. Today I may bake Starlight Mint Surprise Cookies to finish off my holiday cookie baking.

 
We have house guests for the week with back surgery for one of our guests coming up...

...on Thursday. I'm so far behind on my Christmas baking, but over the years I've learned not to stress -not in the least!

It is a blessing to be able to help these two dear friends when they truly need a comfortable and low-stress place to stay while in town. So nice to cook for them (comfort foods) and get caught up on "life".

Sounds like you have your "goodie factory" under control, Cathy!

And I do like the addition of the caster sugar on the gingerbread. I'll give it a try.
