and it turned out so well! used 1/2 butter 1/2 Crisco and added some vanilla. the double recipe covered a half sheet, and then I had dough left for about 18 round cookies. I baked the pan about 20 minutes. We support the local college baseball summer league(Glacier Pilots, GO Pilots!) and they travel to Fairbanks this weekend. we put together goodie bags for that road trip and snickerdoodles were requested. didn't want to make all those individual cookies(25 ballplayers), so made the pan and cut into 1" by about 3 " strips, 2 to a ziplock. quite the perfect snickerdoodle recipe. oldie but goodie.http://www.eat.at/swap/forum/index.php?action=display&forumid=1&msgid=50752
