Michelle - how is the food instruction business going? Would love to hear.

Yes, we'ld love to know. And who was it who started that farmer's market venture? She must be busy

that would be me, on both counts smileys/smile.gif things are going well (for the most part), although a bit >>

crazy. I'm right in the middle of having a commercial kitchen built - i'll be doing all my food prep for the farmer's market, plus for the corporate lunch deliver/catering service i'm starting. i'll do cooking classes out of there, as well. the whole thing is a bit of a nightmare right now, with all the permitting, etc. involved in setting up a commercial kitchen. my 10 years spent as a project mgr in engineering are paying off - as stressful as it all is, nothing is really phasing me.

the after school program is going really well - there are only 3 more weeks left now. tuesdays i have 5 K-GR 2's, & wed I have 13 GR 3- GR 5. They are really enjoying it, too smileys/smile.gif there's 2 elementary schools right next to my new location, so i'll prob run an after school type program there. as well as my cooking birthday party service smileys/wink.gif

the market is going really well. my mustards are consistently selling more & more - i just ordered 170 dozen jars, so that i don't have fears of suddenly running out. we're looking at trying to mass market them very soon. i'm having some boxes custom made so that i can have professional looking gift sets, both for tourists in the summer at the market, & for locals that buy saskatchewan products to take as hostess gifts when visiting other provinces. then, of course, they'll be ready for the fall/christmas season.

so yes, life is a little busy right now!!! smileys/smile.gif my husband & i went to the moose jaw mineral spa last weekend for a much needed stress relief - i knew that once the kitchen opens, we won't be taking any time off for a long time. we went on the chicago connection tunnel tour, which is the remnants of when al capone set up shop there for his bootlegging operation. very interesting!!!

Michelle, did you read posts 1731 and 1753 about the interesting sauces? Maybe something for you

to experiment with since they seem to be quite popular.
