Minion cake

Now that I've done a few, I could make them look a lot neater...still not sure I could get Stuart's golf club and plaid hat.

Used C&W (I used to use Merckens...this is what they carry now) chocolate melts (discs) and Paramount Crystals to thin it out. After they were done, I flipped them over, lined up a 4" lolliipop stick and glued it on with more melted chocolate. Cake was Puerto Rican Rum Cake...teeth-achingly sweet, but it's my cube-mate's favorite.

Nope...just piped the chocolate directly on acetate laying over the images

Then you have to flip them over. I wanted the glasses to stand out, so I piped those on the "right" side. But I should have piped an outline on the reverse and then copied it again right side up: it would have been much neater.

I learned the method from Whimsical Bakehouse cookbook. Here is vidoe of the author doing a butterfly cake.
