K karennoca Well-known member Jan 29, 2010 #6 I bought a whole bag of Rio Star grapefruit and a bag of Cara Cara oranges from Costco. Both are not the best, and certainly the grapefruit is not nearly as good as it was last year. Both fruits are kind of mealy, but they are juicy.

M melissa-dallas Well-known member Jan 29, 2010 #7 I think they are the hybrid that came after ruby red and they are even better. Deep, deep red and ultra sweet. They are running them three or four for a dollar in stores here right now.
