Okay, I suddenly realized (this happens a LOT) that I was going about this all wrong. I was trying to find items that would work and then test them to see if the size matched.

The "draftsman for 12 years and engineer for 20" slapped the "baker for 50 years" right upside the old head and said: "WHY aren't you working out the math on this?"

A little flummoxed at my own personal shaming, I took the 8" printed mockup, found my drafting decimal circle template #1206 and looked up the original cookie online.

Oddly enough, the answer was already there: the original post stated the baker used "sugar pearls" and Celebration Sweetworks sells a product called sugar pearls. Which I have. Because I'm looking for GBH stuff all year long. They are 6.4 mm in diameter (thank you, Pickett Template # 1206). I also have Sixlets, a larger sugar bead which measures 9.6mm.

So I didn't need to do the math. I just had to do the sketch. And the result?

Celebration "Sugar pearls" are a close match the online image.

Unfortunately, I've never found a multi-color version of this candy like the original post. They are sold in single color packages for $1 each. The green is a limey-color....not very Christmasy if you get my drift.

Oh wait, I'm wrong. When I went to the pantry to get the lime green pearls, I found another package there...it's CAMOUFLAGE! I kid you not: the beads are brown, yellow, green and black. I'd do a mockup for you, but you probably wouldn't be able to see it.

Classic Camo Mix! One guess at where I bought these last year.

I also think the sexless (ha, the site code just changed SIXLETS to sexless!) would work.

I'll post a picture when I have them glued down.

oh...you're right. That's it exactly. I haven't seen that version anywhere...well, where

"anywhere" is defined as Walmart or Michaels.
