I have an exterminator here right now because of those hideous big brown roach guys. I haven't seen any in 2 years and all of a sudden I have seen 3 in as many days. I read in the contract that I signed that it covered the moths as well. I asked him if spreading bay leaves around in your cupboards was an old wives tale (I did it and it worked) He said no, it was true that they hated the smell of bay leaves. Give it a try after a thorough cleaning and discard.

I use bay leaves - they work pretty well at keeping them from spreading once

you discover you have them.
