Here but things have been busy, hectic, strange
working at the restaurant at first two nights a week but now just one, and then Sunday brunch.
Regular job still crazy as ever, still working on flood recovery stuff but moving back to my normal stuff, have one fire station underway now and bidding out six more. about $90M in capital projects just got approved. Several of us are working to improve things and establish standards, procedures, etc. on top of all this.
DD has been sick since a week after she moved to college. Relapses about every 2 to 3 weeks. So I went down there week before last thinking maybe just maybe it was a mold problem in her dorm since it's the oldest one built in '38 and hasn't been remodeled but the air sampling tests I took came back pretty darn clean. So she's withdrawing and coming home. Got to find out what's making her sick and get her well so she can return in January.
DH is winding up his temp position in Portland with one last trip week after next. He went to MI to visit his mom a couple of weeks ago - she's starting to forget who people are.
Youngest stepson (36 yr old) that graduated college Aug 09 STILL doesn't have a job but not sure how hard he's really trying. And that is resulting in stress on DH and very unpleasant calls from the ex wanting us to pay for him to take programs to teach ESL which we say is a scam since you can't teach in schools in most states but she paid for it even though she is BROKE. She wants us to pay pay pay. I've spent WAY too much time trying to help him find a job - I'm washing my hands of it at this point.
So I guess I am just sort of worn out and fed up and uninspired.
