My accidental 30 eggs has now become four batches of lemon curd

Niiiice!

My MIL always made lemon meringue pies for Thanksgiving and there was never any left. Lemon is very refreshing after a big meal.

I looked at Office Depot for round labels today and they didn't have them but I'm just going

to give most of it to my Mom & Sister, so really only had about three jars I want to do something with.

Actually, the three jars I'm keeping are going to become small gifts in baskets

with a jar of curd, a fancy scone mix, Twinings tea and a pretty tea towel.

I'm chiming in late here, but did you know there were round, jar labels

online that you can print on your own computer for all different occasions? I saw them the other day - some turkey ones for Thanksgiving, but I'm sure there are Christmas ones floating around out there too.

I really like to give baskets for gifts, and yours sounds wonderful!!

P.S. It's an Adobe Acrobat Document, so I can't post a link here, but

I can send you the attachment if you want it. Just email me at dawndo4@graffiti.net . I can't find it when I do a search at that page either, and I don't know how I found it the first time! ;o)

LOL. I went through 24 eggs last night making Chess Pies for Thanksgiving...

and boy did the house smell good when they were baking.

I'm with Ang, any season is lemon curd season. A very special gift any time of year.

Fun Link Dawn. Is there a way to edit an adobe file? There were some fun recipes, but would edit

for my recipe. Any thoughts? Either way, the site gave me some fun ideas for Christmas. Current thinking the hummus on the cutting board with Pita. I know my neighbors would like it, just never thought of it!
Thanks again for the link~
Best,
Barb

Are there Abobe files with recipes there? I didn't see them. No, I know of no

way to edit an Adobe file - unless you put it in Photo Editor? Would that work? I've never tried, but would be interested in knowing if you do.
