My cat got sprayed by a skunk last night and so I gave him a bath in tomato sauce - now I am craving

I should've used the hydrogen peroxide/baking soda route - I heard that works too. I think I may have to re-wash him tomorrow... still smells a little. But it's going up to 90 degrees, so he shouldn't mind a bath too much.

 
Oh they doooo - you would've thought I was killing him, the way he

was howling. Like almost "human" screaming. I won't do that again!

 
No... I felt bad doing it , didn't want any reminders of it. I think he really

thought I was trying to drown him! Felt so sorry for him and kept talking to him in a soothing voice. Two hours later (he hid and tried to dry off) he came up to me and snuggled... then he slept for about 8 hours. I think all is forgiven ;o)
