my dog Hope had surgery this morning. all positive vibes this way accepted!

Doc said she came through just fine. she now has a re-aligned joint and plate to hold it there. Doc

said she was so funny this morning for her exam before surgery---she kept rolling on her back for a tummy rub every time they came near her for testing. We pick her up tomorrow

 
So glad to hear. I say have hubby be the first one she sees

so she won't blame you and you don't have to feel guilty again. She does tend to hold a grudge. ;0)

 
Those dogies bounce back so fast, the hardest part is getting them to stay quiet for the required

healing time. Glad to hear Hope is doing well. Huge dog lover here too and have a wonderful 3 year old Havanese girl who is the light of lives everyday...she is a family member, for our entire family.

Karen is right, the exercise restrictions during the healing process are difficult to impose, but very important.
