My neighbor just gave me some of her xtras from farmers market....What to do with Turnips & radishes

Were you lucky to get baby turnips, which would be the size of a radish? If so,

they are great in salads, thinly cut, like a radish, and we love them in soups. The greens are also good, before they get that fuzz on them. Radishes are also good in soups. Weight Watchers had a soup years ago called Anytime Soup and it had cooked radishes in it, it was very good.

Thanks much! I'm good to go with the turnips. Yes, Karen, they are really small. I honestly did

not know they were turnips. I've been eating them in my salad, but now out of ideas. I know it is a huge treat to have these, so trying to be creative on how to enjoy them.

I like adding them to beef stew, it's beef stew weather, right??

turnips, that is!

For radishes, I like then sliced very thin and layered on bread spread thickly with butter. yum.
