A amanda_pennsylvania Well-known member Nov 30, 2011 #3 That sounds good. I was looking at that milk in the store the other day.
M marilynfl Moderator Nov 30, 2011 #4 Hey M, Almond Breeze boxed almond milk has unsweetened versions Vanilla and plain....both only 40 calories for a cup. Both our local Publix grocery store and the health-food store carry it. I see a liquid Almond Joy is your future yet. (This is what I use to make steel-cut oats. One 4-cup box cooked with 1 cup of toasted oat groats. Wonderful stuff and it reheats well.) http://www.amazon.com/Blue-Diamond-Unsweetened-Vanilla-32-Ounce/dp/B002H062DA/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1322670403&sr=8-1

M monj Well-known member Nov 30, 2011 #5 Ah, sounds great. I'm always looking for low/no sugar treats for DH. Thx!
M melissa-dallas Well-known member Nov 30, 2011 #6 I'll have to try mixing the two. The coconut has very little redeeming value aside from the calcium as it only has one gram of protein. Nice and rich tasting though for 80 calories (fify of which is fat)
