My new oven although when the temp is tested, it is right on the money.

However, Everything I bake, burns. I tent everything & watch like a hawk. Wasn't sure if I turned down the temp,how to adjust recipe accordingly. We made a service call on it and the factory setting was correct. Can any one help me with this?

What kind of oven? Is it convection?

Julie, did you test it out with a digital thermometer in a 350 F oven for at least 1 hour?...

(1/2 hour to preheat and another 1/2 hour to test)

Regular oven-when tested, was told when preheat beeped, it was not @ true temp. for baking. had to

wait longer(30 min.)to bake. I used a regular thermomter when I tested. I think the service person used a digital, but not for an hour. I will purchase a digital one and do my own test. Thanks!

Here's the thermometer I use - it's not digital, but it seems to be pretty right on.

I bought it because it had very high ratings.
