Will the butter-sugar-egg mixture keep a few days until the repairman fixes it?

I imagine if it's okay, that I should allow it to come to room temperature before adding dry ingredients and sour cream.

I think it would be fine for a couple of days. There are many muffin batter recipes that can sit in

the fridge for weeks and be fine. Your leavening ingredients haven't been added yet(with the dry ingredients?), so i think it would work out. I like Carianna's idea too!
