1. Watered my poor overheated roses and herbs out front. The heat has been awful, 25 days of three digit heat and no end in sight.
2. An "Attic Sale" promised treasures from 7 to 11 am this morning. Sadly, it was just another name for junk sale, and nary even a mason jar.
3. Trekked in to Fiesta Market and Central Market in search of tex-mex ingredients. Someone will know of what I speak! Had some success, and will be evaluating and fine tuning.
4. While in Austin searched for shoes for my Zumba! class. My Asics are too cumbersome for the twists and turns of this fun, fun latin cardio dance class. Found some Capezios that will fit the bill! Kinda ugly but feel great!
5. Sampled a bar of Vosges Haut-Chocolat Oaxaca Bar chocolate I found at Central Market. I was hoping it would be as spicy as the mousse filling I had at Dos Caminos a couple of weeks ago in the chocolate mousse cake.
6. Finally, we grilled some hamburgers and covered them with HEB's Mediterranean Cheddar -- good cheddar with olives and sundried tomatoes. A big slab of a homegrown (not mine) tomato and some avocado slices. Heaven!
