Need advice on 2x's baked sweet potatoes. Has anyone done these using garlic and sourcream rather

than say with butter , brown sugar and nuts. Am making regular 2X's baked and thought I'd through a few sweet in the oven but don't really want to have a sweet filling. Thanks for any advice. Need this for tonights dinner

 
Yes, I've made them with sour cream, however, the recipe doesn't have garlic& I didn't use it. Do

you have any chile in adobo? I have a recipe in my file from Fine Cooking Magazine that uses 1/4 cup sour cream, 1/2 chile in adobo, minced to a paste...more to taste, 2 T. butter, salt and pepper. Served with extra sour cream and lime quarters. That's for 4 small sweet potateos, 3 lbs total...I wouldn't call those small, lol. Hope that helps.

 
Thanks Curious! I ended up going with the sweet filling . I do bake a lot of sweet potatoes this

time of year so this is on my to make list. I'll let you know how it turns out.
