Need advice on cookbook software

I'm thinking about creating a cookbook for my family and friends of all my favorite recipes. I know they have all kinds of software to help do this. My question is does anyone have any experience with them. This is new to me so I'm not really sure what to be looking for in a program and which one is the most user friendly.

Thank you for all your help

I love Living Cookbook

I have about three other programs I have tried over the years and I've tried some other ones online and this to me is hands down the best one. It exports it to Word so that you can play around - add family pictures, add things, edit things, etc.

I am in the 'final' stages of my friends and family cookbook after loosing most of it when my computer crash about this time last year. And the creator of Living Cookbook was so nice and tried to help me and the guy trying to recover my stuff.

I'm not doing a family cookbook but use this program for all my recipes. It's great. I love being

able to search by ingredient. There are more than 8000 recipes entered, my husband did the entering. Still have breads and desserts to go. I'm constantly adding and subtracting. Deleted recipes go into their own file, so I never really lose them. Gotta admit I kept the hard copies, though and have them filed away in boxes. Not sure why, but I love being able to search through them also.

I hear great things about Living Cookbook, too. (The developer and I were childhood friends, but I

haven't seen him for more than 30 years, so I'm entirely unbiased.)
