Rec. Coffee Eggnog Punch
1 Tablespoon instant coffee granules
1/2 cup milk
3 cups commercial eggnog
1/3 cup bourbon
1/3 cup Kahlua
1 cup whipping cream; whipped
Garnishes: ground cinnamon; ground nutmeg
Combine coffee granules and milk in a small saucepan; cook over medium heat until granules dissolve, stirring often. Let cool.
Combine milk mixture, eggnog, bourbon, and Kahlua; chill. Fold in whipped cream. Garnish, if desired. Yield: 6 cups
Tip: For best results, use freshly brewed coffee. If coffee must be held before serving, keep it no longer than one hour in an automatic pot or reheat over low heat; do not allow it to boil.
