security update (LM was refusing to receive any data from my iPad until I pushed out the latest 8.4.

Anyway, now APPLE has reworked the page and changed the bookmarks and that bookmark that WORKED SO WELL, GOD BLESS YOU CHEEZZ AND RHOWARD FOR POSTING IT...now opens a NEW tab rather than going to the bottom of the page I'm on (here).

And I HATE, HATE, HATE having to scroll all the way down to the bottom on the iPad.

Thank you,

frustrated Apple user--just had to pay for virus protection AND a tech to clean up my MacBook. What's going on??

Roz, unfortunately this no longer works on my iPad after the last update. It was working

perfectly--but NOW it opens a new TAB instead of staying on the eat.at/swap page and jumping to the bottom of the page.

Plus I have a Logitech Bluetooth keypad for my iPad and CMD + down arrow trick doesn't work.

That's weird. It works on my iPhone work the latest update. Haven't installed it yet on the iPad.

I've found that 'new and improved' NEVER is. I'm still running 7.1.2

This is the JavaScript bookmark I use:
javascript:scroll(0,document.getElementsByTagName('body')%5B0%5D.scrollHeight);

MARILYN! I think I figured it out - the JavaScript is ok, but when you upgraded

it probably turned off your JavaScript function. Go to Settings>Safari>Advanced and be sure it's turned on

More info: Apple moved Favorites to the + button, which opens a new tab.

so, while the Java code is still correct to do what it needs to do, it's sitting somewhere where apple has decided it will open a new tab FIRST. Thus the code works...it's just going to the bottom of a BLANK PAGE.

Rat bastards.

Oh....wait...you mean you put the 'scroll to bottom' bookmark in your Favorites?

It should just be in the main page of your bookmarks icon. I have 'scroll to bottom' and 'search on page' at the top of the bookmarks list on my pad.

Just move it out of Favorites.

Click Bookmarks > Favorites. Then press the Edit button at the bottom. Click the arrow to the right of the Scroll to Bottom bookmark. Then on the Location line, select where you want the bookmark to go
