Need help, Please! I am making a Coffee Creme Bundt Cake from Fine Cooking

I just happened to Google my question and it took me to The Joy of Baking website

I found out I can use a 9x13.

The website also said a 12 cup Bundt Pan is 10 inches across, mine was nine but I used it anyway

The cake turned out great, very good recipe if you follow instructions

It was delicious. I followed the instruction to take it out when set and cake tester came out with

moist crumbs on it. I started checking at 45 minutes.

The reviews of this are SO interesting. The person that says basically that it

has so much sugar--3/4C for a whole cake!!
The one that did everything exactly and found it dry has never heard about watching for doneness.
One person had too much cardamon and another not enough.
It's sort of a 3 bears recipe--too sweet, not sweet enough, just right.

The cake part of this is similar to a much revered sour cream coffee cake we used to have for christmas breakfast--and lots of other times.

Thanks for the good evaluation Karen.

I shared a portion of the cake with a teacher next door who just retired

he is single and has taken in a former student of his who is just out of the Marines, and is a homeless man, and has been all his life. This young man did not like the coffee taste but went crazy for the icing. My teacher neighbor asked what the very good but unusual taste was, and I told him Cardamom. He loved it. Crazy reviews all over the place for sure. All I know is that we loved it and gobbled it down fast, and the icing is crazy delicious.
