Need ideas for use of a jar of Smoked Applewood Caramel Sauce

Went to the Gourmet Experience show this weekend and picked up a jar of smoked applewood caramel and a jar of lavendar carmel sauce. The smoked one is very good and unique. It's made with smoked sea salt and has a just hint of smokey sweet flavor. I'm trying to think of ways to use it besides the obvious - on ice cream or straight out of the jar. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Also any ideas for the lavendar one too. Thanks

Maybe "painted" on uncooked pie crust, as a base for

a delicious apple pie? I've had this before, and it was very good.

Mixed with whipped cream inside of a layer cake?

How about mixed in with pears as a fruit compote, topped with marscarpone cheese?

The lavender one sounds interesting too!

Added w/ apples to make apple crumble; or dripped on top of apple crumbe w/ fun presentation

Dip the long pretzel Rods; then dip in chocolate; roll in fall colored sprinkles

In a cup of strong coffee. . .

or mocha/espresso? Stirred into hot chocolate? On graham crackers? As a filling between two good home-made shortbread cookies? As a fruit dip? Bananas-Smoked-Applewood-caramel-sauce Foster?

How about glazing some thick-cut bacon in it? Or thinning it with some apple juice and using it to glaze ham (or ham slices)? Drizzle over cooked winter squash? Candy sweet potatoes in it? Use to flavor/sweeten squash/pumpkin/sweet potato pie? Drizzle over baked apples/apple dumplings? Glaze sauteed carrots/parsnips?

Flavor addition for baked beans? Use to bring up the sweet spices in chili con carne or curry? Use with cream cheese to fill blintzes/crepes?
