prefer A or B? I was using Spring Tree from Canada for years and years, but it's no longer available in my local stores, and hard to find online.

NOTE: I don't have a TJ's *!$&%*@(*_&!^!

I prefer grade B because it tends to be darker and "toastier". That's a matter...

...of personal preference, though. Some people find grade B too harsh. I've had grade A on pancakes and it is very good. I just like my maple syrup on the dark side.

I do buy 98% of my syrup at TJ's. I've bought some grade A from Krogers ("President's Select", or something like that) and it was fine.

I buy my maple syrup on line, and usually directly from the person

who makes it. I always get grade B and use it for pancakes, and cooking.

Do you have a Smart n Final? or someplace like that?

It actually might be cheaper there. Maple syrup is no longer as inexpensive as it once was at TJ's. We happen to have a SF right next door to TJ's and I'm finding many items are less there.

I've also heard good things about Aldi prices, who owns TJ's (we don't have one of those here).

No, I don't have either store nearby, and I'm not a member of Costco, so that's out, too.

Yeah, saw that too

of course one pays more for "organic" - don't recall what I paid, but my TJ's in the fridge turns out isn't organic. Sometimes you can get specials of that first one I posted, but think it's only $1 cheaper, so this one you posted is the better price.

Since I use it most on pancakes, I tend to enjoy the lighter taste of the grade A, the B does taste a bit harsh vs. just stronger to me.

Not right away, but soon - I'm almost on my last 8.5 oz bottle, and I use it pretty often. What do

you have in mind? Would you want to do some kind of trade?
