Need some help with frosting or icing. My sister promised to make a b'thday

cake for a young neighbor. She wants a chocolate cake with a 7 minute type frosting. DS says that every review of 7 min states that it droops after 24 hours. She also doesn't want to take a cake with raw egg whites in the icing. Anyone have a recipe for a similar type icing?

 
I've not a problem with drooping

of a 7-minute frosting. What it does is develop a crust and it does keep it's shape.

The sugar syrup added to the beaten egg whites cook them , but to be really certain you have no raw egg white issues, you can use "Just Whites".

I use the Joy of Cooking recipe with fantastic results.
